Regardless eBay impressively smart system will gather the regional setting from your computer and redirect you to ‘your’ regional eBay market.eBay is a very big superstore; but online. Using eBay you can buy and sell items both new and used. You can even sell your services. There are many companies trading via eBay and have become international sellers. This world-renowned site has millions of users logging in daily to buy and sell. World-renowned computer manufactures Dell have an eBay account for refurbished and new computers. eBay is known as an eCommerce company, and eBay offer payments to be made for purchases using one of its sisters companies; PayPal. eBay try their best to protect users against fraud but as in all business’ there is always a way to fraud the users the business and the company. eBay has user-friendly interface and its all in plain English. There are more technical features for the more IT-minded people; it has wildcards, advance search facilities. At times eBay charge pennies for listing an item on this worldwide auction house, and offers users to give a percentage to registered charities. They have really thought about this, eBay even have their own company to handle payment transaction made between buyers and seller… PayPal. PayPal is the sister company of eBay, allowing users to make smooth transaction fast and secure. You may be thinking how much would a service like this cost to an ordinary internet user..? Well eBay is completely free to signup to and you must be over the age of 18. However they will ask for proof of user, you will be required one of two things to open an account;
1. A valid email address from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) as in AOL or BT not Hotmail or Yahoo.
2. A credit card, you will not be charged just verified.
As with all online automated there are always security loops, no site is 100% secure. eBay takes experience, in my opinion. As a frequent user I have been scammed by many. At times if you do not take notice of small details you may end up with getting your fingers burnt. One of the important things to keep an eye out for is the user’s feedback.
